(The Belize Zoo is more of a sanctuary, as it only has animals who have been hurt or were confiscated from people trying to keep them as pets. They are all animals native to Belize. It's a pretty awesome place, with great education, rehabilitation, and conservation programs. But it is also definitely a zoo, with small cages.)
